General Description

The Norwich Terrier is a breed of dog originating in the United Kingdom, and was bred to hunt small rodents.

General Health

While the Norwich terrier is widely considered to be a robust and healthy little dog that is a good example of a healthy genetic background and breeding process, like all dogs, certain health issues have been found to present themselves within the Norwich terrier breed pool.

Character and Temperament

The Norwich Terrier is known for his affectionate nature. He generally loves everyone and will do well in households with multiple pets and children.

Exercise

Norwich Terriers require daily exercise and like many terrier breeds they have an ample supply of energy.

Grooming

At a minimum, the Norwich terrier coat should be combed thoroughly once a week and bathed as necessary to keep the dog and your home clean
