Intelligent, bold, happy, energetic, obedient and eager

Exercise

Parson Russell Terriers are full of energy and require plenty of exercise ideally 1-2 hours per day. They have a strong instinct to hunt and explore so bear this in mind when training, as even basic training and especially recall will not always be easy.

The Parsons Terrier hair coat comes in both a wire variety as well as a smooth coat variety. The smooth coated Parson's should have short straight glossy hair without even a hint of wire coat. The Parsons should be groomed every 6 – 8 weeks to keep up ears cleaned, and nails trimmed.

Origin

The Parson Russell Terrier was developed in the south of England in the 1800s
