Well built, trainable, gives hugs but also bites arms, will hike in whatever weather, for however long and whatever time of day you want, understands commands and loves treats, does wander off on his own but will “get home” when you tell him. I trained him until I saw the glimpses I wanted, but didn’t want a trained dog. He jumped right into the rogue river with no fear and webbed paws, but I did form a fear in my own dog by freaking out and screaming because of the current, then went and got him. So we will be fixing that at a lake this summer, his initial instincts and dna were to dive right in! Frfinybelievrs he is an alpha, pees over my pee outside every time, challenges me often.
