He’s a full blooded, AKC registered blue heeler. Born on Oct. 23, we’ve been together since Dec. 18th, the day he turned 8 weeks. He’s a great dog, smart as a heeler, not quite the terror I hear some have, but he does have a pretty bad sock and sandal habit. He’s 38 lbs., and I think he’s got exceptional coloring and markings, although I’m hardly impartial. Anyway, Zeke just turned 9 months, and I’m on the horns of a dilemma and seeking non-snarky input (always a perilous quest on the internet). This is the age when I ought to have him neutered, if I’m going to. I’m trying to decide if he’s “exceptional” enough to breed. I’d love to find someone with a pedigreed mottled grey female and breed him, get the pick of the litter, and find him a female companion to grow old with.
