Meet Brownie... a standard size, purebred Australian Shepherd that is a red merle with ice blue eyes, a kind-hearted personality, and a fantastic mane. (He even has a brown heart pattern on his side!) He's three years old and weighs 60 pounds. Brownie is a typical Aussie - playful, gentle, barks to alert (otherwise he is not a barker), guardian of his human mom and loves his 4 human brothers, He shows hesitation in meeting new people but warms up quickly. He loves to have a job. Looking to breed him locally with either the same breed or poodles or huskies or border collies...as long as the female does not carry the merle gene. Brownie comes from a line of working dogs with 'show coats'. His mom is a black tri mini (30#) that is a farm-dog owned by my brother - they bred her with a small standard merle.
