Looking for another water dog of similar size and temperament, ideally a Springer Spaniel type. I prefer the Improper Coat and am not looking for poodles to create doodles, we want dogs that live and work on the water with minimal grooming requirements for our island community; webbed toes, repellent coat, etc. I had a Chesapeake stud lined up but he was too big, as are labs and other retrievers. I would consider a smaller lab mix, or any types of water dogs. Thanks!
