Hercules is a fully AKC papered Akita. He is a very sweet & smart dog and is fully potty trained & house broken and has been since about 6 months old, and we adopted him when he was 4 months old. Hercules has a very stubborn personality, but that goes along with your typical Akita. He is very active and loves to be outdoors and play with our other pup that we have (a 2 year old female chocolate lab), and is more gentle with her than anything. He is very strong willed but is such a great companion, he loves to talk back to you lol… literally. Hercules is very protective over us & our other dog and always lets us know if someone is near that isn’t supposed to be and always lays next to the door of the room that you are in (Ex: When one of us is in the shower, he guards the bathroom door and stays there until he sees you come out of that door). He has a totally black face & snout with deep ocean blue eyes which look black until you look into them in the light, along with a black body and white speckled legs. Hercules has not been around very many kids in his lifetime, but the kids that he has been around, he was very gentle & loving towards them. Hercules is the first Akita either of us have ever owned and we fully understand now just how unique their personalities are & we are so grateful that we decided to adopt him.
