Lanikai Hawanawana (aka Kai) is a lovely 19-month-old AKC registered field Golden Retriever born in Maui. He has a beautiful dark honey golden coat, is physically fit and healthy, and does not exhibit any emotional or anxiety issues. He is currently undergoing Embark DNA testing and additional health testing but he comes from a healthy AKC certified bloodline. Kai is CGC certified and a trained service dog, and he has been training for AKC competition events. He is a true water dog, streamlined like a dolphin in the water, and is an active sports dog (we refer to him as our "rugby player"), as is characteristic of field Golden traits. He is gentle with people, children, and other dogs, despite his 80-lb muscular physique. Kai is the perfect loving, family dog - ever-ready to please and ever-joyful to see you! He’s super smart, a quick learner, a good listener, and eager to learn new tricks and tasks. He loves to swim, jump, run, fetch, search, and dive. These traits are evident in his siblings as well. Kai is the quintessential golden retriever and the most loving and fun boy you'll meet!
